Look, compared to Hellbreach Vegas, that I got this with, this is a deeper, more mechanically sound game. But it just doesn’t have the presentation and identity of Hellbreach. It’s not immediately fun and cheesy. A more slow burn of a game, you do need to upgrade the skill tree to be effective.

  2. Оксана

The game is a lot of fun! there are some bugs and issues but the developer is very active in discussions and is actively patching the game.

  3. Снежана

This is a masterpiece that is only topped by the likes of triple AAA games such as Call of Duty Zombies, but even in such cases, it is highly doubtable that such games would be more enjoyable than the work of art that is Ultimate Zombie Defense. Props to the devs for making such an incredible experience.

  4. Эльвира

    Togehter, hell is fun XD

  5. Елизавета

    cant be saved

  6. Всеволод

This is actually a really cool game. And I have to say, the developer is awesome, they even own their mistakes, but to be honest apart from knowing myself how hard code is after all the failed unreleased games i tried to create over the years i DO understand the stress of it, but dude… you did GOOD!

    10/10!

  7. Андрей

    zombies, i hate zoo

  8. Виктория

At launch there are some issues but I still think the game is fairly priced and a lot of fun to explore. Reading the developer commentary, I am glad to see some of the social commentaries built into the mechanics are actually intended.

  9. Таисия

    better then the remake

  10. Евгения

Loving the game and look forward to more content (early release but want more 😉 ) loved blackshard as well. MORE PLEASE……

  11. Злата

Absolute dawg crap game would not recommend unless u wanna hate ur life and the time u waste putting in this game

  12. Алина

Love the new cast, they feel very connected to one another in cool ways. The dialogue is snappy and has really drawn me into everybody’s dramas. I’m sure there will be tears shed when I hit the end. Excellent entry in the series!

  13. Арсений

    Classic!

  14. Галина

On release it felt like a Demo but with numerous updates since then it’s worth a shot now.

  15. Ольга

This game ♥ I played it so much on my ps1 *_*

One of the best JRPGs (turn based combat) ever made! And all Breath of fire games are standalones so you can legit start with this one, which for me is the best BOF game (majority might say 3 is the best, but even so we all agree 3 and 4 are the best BOF games ever made)

The setting, story, chars and gameplay are top tier! Must play for everyone who likes JRPGs

Currently the only con is that the steam overlay doesn’t work ingame meaning no f12 to take screenshot which kinda sucks..

For me this and ChronoTrigger are the best JRPG games ever made

Here’s to hopin we actually get another BOF game that is as epic as this one!

  16. Евгений

    Hmm!!!

  17. Ульяна

It seems like it might be fun. But if there is a way to turn the tutorial off, I cant find it. Really annoying when you lay out a city then cant complete the tutorial because you placed a building where the game wants you to build a toilet.

  18. София

PLS REMAKE ALL BOF SERIES CAPCOM !!! ILOVE YOUUUURRR

  19. Олег

great bones. good dev. i look forward to see everything that this game will become moving forward. def worth a play through.

  20. Тимофей

It is way better then the first one, and the level up system is cool as heck!

  21. Иван

My Faction is terrible. Even with all DLC I cant unlock all characters due to My Faction.

  22. Наталья

This is an easy recommend from me, as I loved the first game.

It`s just as awe-inspiring as its predecessor, though it feels more lived-in.

It maintains that Blame!-esque megastructure aesthetic that I absolutely love: the sense of being dwarfed by impossible architecture. Remarkably, this evokes curiosity rather than dread in me. There is a strangely comforting feeling when your expectations of how things should be built are ignored by your surroundings. You are just a guest/an observer to a world constructed by something that simply doesn’t care how humans would have built it. It makes me feel like an ant navigating a roman city or aqueduct that was left behind long ago.

Since I am not that far into the game yet, I can’t speak extensively on the story or the NPCs, but I plan to update my review once I’ve finished the Early Access content and the 1.0 release is out.

The art direction is still stellar, with breathtaking vistas and brutalist structures, just like the first game, but this time there is more nature to create a stark contrast. I highly recommend this to anyone captivated by surreal, vast environments and the joy of exploring an alien world. However, if you lean more towards action or are easily bored by walking sims and environmental storytelling, you should probably at first play the demo to see if you vibe with it.

I was surprised to see this game listed on Steam, and I bought it immediately out of nostalgia. But honestly, the game just doesn’t feel good to play these days. The lack of CRT filters makes the graphics look pretty ugly. And even if you can accept the tank controls (like I can), the absence of a quick U-turn control really hurts the experience. Another covert is you can’t play this game on Steam deck out of box (you have to tinker), which is sheer disappointing.

Anyway if you truly want to experience the original Resident Evil, I’d recommend playing the Nintendo DS version (Resident Evil: Dead Silence), either on a real DS or through emulation.

This is a really good game, i don’t know why people are leaving bad reviews after only playing 1h, i guess the early access had a lot of bugs, but right now i didn’t experience any in 6hs.

To enjoy this game, early, is important to treat it as a crpg, where some encounters are better avoided but you should still loot all you can around that enemy to gain an advantage and run away to come back later.

I was working at Pizza Hut when this title was released and I used my very first paycheck to buy a PS1 along with RE2. I had nowhere near enough money to pay for everything so my mom spotted me the difference. I spent many hours of my youth playing this game and it still holds a very special place in my heart. I remember marveling over how great the graphics looked back then. Well, the game doesn’t look as awesome as it did in 1998 but that’s okay because I don’t either. Things get old and that’s life. It was pretty fun though, taking a walk down memory lane.

In my head I’m still here.

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews for games, if im being honest — and considering I played both CT1 and CT2 on the xbox, i guess i didnt really consider it.

That said, I love CT1 and CT2 to death. They are some of my favourite games of all time, and CTT? Is easily by miles my fave of the three. All of the characters felt so incredibly well written, and i’d be lying if i said i didnt cry multiple times playing this. I’m not even lying when i say i wrote a small essays worth of ranting about this game and the characters to my friends lmfao.

I suppose if i had to have any criticism, i’d say that I felt less invested in some stories compared to others. But even then, they were all exceptional, and i think i’m only saying that because i wanted to get to see the happy endings for them all.

This is genuinely an exceptional game. If you want something chill and cozy to play, this is definitely one you should play. CT1 and CT2 as well, if youre willing to spend for them. I highly recommend them all.

finally a classic gets added to steam was waiting for it

  31. Жанна

    Really enjoyed it.
    Some great ideas and gameplay.

I just hope the finished version is much much bigger.

Not really a bad game per say, more of a 4.5/10 as it’s not bad but there is far too much room that could be expanded onto for a 1.0 release.

Feels like the old CoD Zombies wave based survival but has a tower defense mechanic added onto it with a wave defense mode to better show off the tower defense systems. The game has a healthy amount of bosses, special zombies, and even a nice boss arena to fight in every now and then to add some dynamic gameplay to the old CoD wave based survival system.

However I feel it is lacking on maps, guns, attachments, towers, classes, and class progression system. As it stands now it feels a bit small as what they have in the game feels rather underdeveloped. There is workshop support but it is extremely small with very little of substance to be pulled from it at this time. A more robust and extensive modding scene could add what this game is missing and make for game additions that could keep the game fun for a long time. Would probably be fun with a group of friends for a while but as a primarily solo player with friends busy with life to all get on at the same time there’s not much here for me long term.

I feel adding a larger weapon attachment selection with stated stat changes to the attachments, expand the classes to have a bit more diversity and allow better team play, separating experience to the classes instead of overall and locking class progression to the class level, adding a couple maps, and making it easy to create custom maps to be added into the game through something like a level editor this game could easily be a really great wave based zombie survival game, hands down.

As a note: I play on Linux and had an issue where launching the game it would crash on launch. Changing the compatibility to the Proton10 had fixed the issue and could play without any issues.

  33. Лариса

I’ve only played an hour and I’m already obsessed again with the games amazing soundtrack and artstyle. You guy’s know how to do it the best, keep it up :’)

  34. Фёдор

this ♥♥♥♥ made me curb stomp my infant

  35. Марина

Cool game to jump into for a quick play

  36. Алексей

Some notable quotes from the greatest game of all time:
«Jill, step away from the door. I am GOING to kick the DOOR down.»
    «You were almost a Jill Sandwich»
«But wait? What are YOU doing here, Barry? :p»
    «Chris? Stop it. Stop.»
    «Wesker, YOU’RE pathetic.»

  37. Михаил

AND THEY WERE ROOMMATES IN THE SHARED APARTMENT

  38. Егор

A great 3rd chapter to the legendary visual novels!

  39. Вячеслав

Hellstuck is a jump king like with multiplayer and one map.

The map is pretty fair with only one jump that is 2-3 pixel perfect jump in the lava section.

The small con i have with this game is the name, a clear marketing strategy to try to get player from pogostuck rage with your friends while being a jump king clone instead.

It is an easier jump king if you want to slowly get into this genre, it took me 1 hour 9 min to beat.

  40. Елисей

Incredibly, it’s better than the first RE… This is without a doubt the best Survival Horror game ever made.

  41. Юрий

Would like to start off that my currently play time is less than an hour because i allready have 30 hours in the demo alone. Iv only played an hour on the release as there are a few (logistical) bugs that need to be fixed before i hop back in.

I give this game a thumbs up especially for only being $15 which i think iv gotten my moneys worth so far in the demo alone and cant wait to start playing again once the logistical issues are delt with. Thankfully the Dev is super active in the community and is taking many suggestions to better improve and expand the game.

    7/10 Highly Recommend.

  42. Татьяна

Devilishly difficult. absolutely adore the soundtrack and the art style ^^Bearing in mind i couldn’t get past the second level but I don’t care this game is awesome

  43. Злата

    excellent!

  44. Камилла

I’ve played for about ten hours and have found the game very fun and addictive. I haven’t had any crashing or bug issues.
I think the game needs some balancing and improvement to quest tracking, but overall I quite like it and am looking forward to its growth.

  45. Всеволод

    Resident Evil — 5/10 — Mediocre Game

  46. Злата

Really fun to play with friends or by yourself, much more fun than the first game

  47. Зинаида

I’ve screamed, I’ve cried but people on my twitch loved it so I recommend

  48. Георгий

Basically they updated the OG PC port with a better compatibility with modern controllers but with the lack of the Steam Deck? Okay? That’s a weird choice, but overall works pretty fine this version although emulation is way better since you can upscale it and put some texture packs but once this one is on sale it totally worth

  49. Евгения

A love letter to liminal spaces or megastructures. The music is just as captivating as in blackshard <3
The difference with Hypons is the amount of story it has because now the structures actually feel alive.

  50. Эльвира

It reminds me of those browser zombie games from the 2000s that I’d play on the school computers.
Simpler times, before I had to worry about bills, taxes, and anxiety meds
